Shelter from the storm

For Joe Tree day, my favourite tree. It might not be the most beautiful of trees. It's getting old and bits keep dropping off it (a bit like me I suppose) but it has been shelter for me many times. There aren't many trees around the fens so it's a good one to head for when the clouds threaten. It is an old unpollarded willow with a trunk wide enough to hide from the rain, which tends to blow sideways around here. An old friend which will hopefully be here long after I'm gone. Thank you Joe Tree for having such a wonderful idea.
