If trees could talk.

I'd love to hear them share their history!

There's an avenue of very old beech trees here which all appear to be growing on top of an old drystone dyke. When the fresh green leaves unfurl in the Spring I can sit beneath them and it's like being in a stained glass cathedral of green.
Sadly a few of the trees have collapsed recently though.

Thanks to Cailleach for reminding me about Joe Tree Day. What a great place Joe created for us all. And despite the frustrations of no longer being able to use the Android app. I'm still here :)
