Gorse

G and I risked the weather forecast from the BBC being wrong and that from the Met Office being right, and walked on Kelling Heath this morning. It was lovely to see the gorse flowers coming out. We were lucky and got to our coffee stop at Kelling Heath holiday village just as light rain started, so we had our drink sitting in the shelter of the band stand. Then the rain stopped just as we finished our drink and it stayed dry for the rest of the walk, raining again on the drive home. So the Met Office app was right, I generally find it more reliable. I finished my first bit of paperwork sorting this afternoon, did more shredding and put some plastic crates of old paperwork in the attic that only needs keeping for tax purposes.
