The First of March

I spent a bit more than a penny for these tulips but the proverb is still true.  This is the time of year that I begin to long for flowers.  March 1st and we will be digging out from another 7-8 inches of fluffy whiteness.  It was, thankfully, another gentle storm.  Looks like two more "snow events" this week but these flowers make me think of spring and, after all, the first day of spring is only 20 days away!
