Scarp, from Huisinis

The now uninhabited island of Scarp was famous for 'The Rocket Post'. If the weather was bad, and the mail couldn't get over to the island, someone (I forget who) invented a wee rocket that could send the mail over the Sound to Scarp.
It's not that far....

It was 20 degrees today here, well in Harris it was. By the time we got back home to Ness it was 14 degrees and felt a lot fresher!
