Beachy Birthday

We went to Z's birthday party today- it was very fun for the kiddos! There was a beach theme so the kids got their shorts and sandals on and we were off! Chickpea made a lei and a surfboard. There was dancing, beach balloon volleyball, and beach cocktail making. I think Chickpea's favourite part was when they pretended to go to the beach, acted out making sandcastles, surfing, swimming, sunbathing and running for shelter from the rain. She really got into it and smiled and giggled the whole time! Monkey loved the big ball and the balloons. In second place for Chickpea would have to be the massive inflatable sphere the kids rolled around in (the pic). She enjoyed pushing others around almost as much as she liked having her turn inside!
