Spring

This time last year, spring flowers had already made several appearances in my journal. This year, today’s will be my first. 

It has been lovely to return from travelling to a garden bursting into life. Of course, we’ve missed all but the tail end of the snowdrops, and both dwarf irises and crocuses are well into their flowering time. Yet until today, I’ve hardly thought to photograph them - partly, I suspect, because of the abundance of flowers in the house!
