Past their Best

The daffs are definitely past their best and on a downward spiral towards the compost bin. Still, the first ones from the allotment will be ready for picking soon. The circle of daffs.
Didn’t do much today apart from making soup but headed over for a tenpin practice with JacktheLad late afternoon. Unfortunately he’d a bit of a mishap as we were heading back to the tram; one second he’s right behind me as I started to cross the street, the next he’s flat out on the road having tripped over something and gone down like a sack of spuds. A serious ouch! and he ended up nipping up to A&E for a check and x-ray. No broken bones thankfully but I think he’ll be hitting the extra strong mints tonight.
