Surprise snow!

I had packed everything the night before; the snow boots, hats, gloves, snow suits etc. as we planned to leave first thing for the long drive home.
However, the weather had other plans as we awake to excited squeals from Anya and Max. “We made this happen,” I heard them saying :)
How could we not let them play?

We did eventually get away a few hours later. It’s always hard to leave this wonderful place, full of so many memories over the years. Nearly 40 years coming now and a firm family favourite.
