Hot Tub on a Cold Night
I left Tom in charge of the electrician, whose job was to double up a couple of sockets on the kitchen.
I drove over the misty Pennines to see my friend Chris. We ate, chatted, ate more food and drank Prosecco. We walked the 4 dogs and I caught up with my godson Christopher who I hadn’t seen for a while.
Chris made a delicious slow cooked chicken in red wine sauce with herby dumplings for dinner.
We eventually went in the hot tub, hoping to see the Aurora Borealis. The smoke from the hot tub fire was blowing sideways and it was too cloudy to see any Northern Lights but we enjoyed our time outside.
