Mrs S got back into Waverley on an earlier than planned train from Kings Cross. Which was lucky in lots of ways. Not least of which was the fact the train she was originally booked on was cancelled, and it was the last one of the day.

It also meant I could pick her up in daylight (relatively speaking) and get home to have dinner with Joe and Eve and talk about the London adventures.
