Ale House!

George III is one of a number of pubs in Queensbury but I do like the way this one is lit outside. :-)

In the 18th Century, apparently the pub was a three-storey grain warehouse! It's now a large, single-roomed local which seems to be popular. Whenever I stroll past there are people sat inside, or on lighter (and warmer!) evenings people sit outside on the picnic benches.

Those days will be here again soon, although on a wet and cold evening it's hard to believe it!
