New Tennant Required

After a session at the gym and on going work in the attic it was time to test out my new walking poles. After much research and talking to ladies who use them regularly I decided on a pair of Leki lite Makalu AS poles. They had quick release pole adjustment and I got a good deal from the Ordnance Survey shop. We are going to the Lakes this weekend and again at Easter. Felt the poles would take pressure off my knee. First signs are very positive.

As we traversed the wood I spotted some new holes in this tree. I have heard the Woodpeckers but this is the first evidence of their presence. Let’s hope Mrs Woodpecker approves and I can see them raise a family.
