A touch of pink

These fattening flower buds are just beginning to show a bit of colour. So excited! I always wanted a Magnolia, so buying a house with one by the front door is a real joy. Thanks to Debbi for hosting the Tiny Tuesday challenge this month.

It's been a wet day, but I've sewn up bits of jacket-sized cardigan for little Miss B, and am continuing to knit the button band, checking from time to time how many more miles inches... After that, more sewing to attach band and buttons, then I intend to crochet two crabs, one to fit on each pocket. Perfect rainy day activity, while watching an old Fred Astaire film - even older than me!
