Mobility scooters

My neighbour had a severe stroke a year ago and recently he tried to get his driving licence back but failed. They advised that he could consider a mobility scooter so today a van and two people arrived with two for him to try. He asked me to come out and a friend and another neighbour plus Foloh , also were there for support.
I have to admit I worry about it as our roads are single track with steep hills and plenty pot holes. .
