Off the leash

Having been sicker than Mr Sick from Sickville for my actual birthday, it came as a pleasant relief to be able to celebrate it a week later. This we did with gusto. Mrs Ottawacker prepared her signature Boeuf bourgignon dish and I managed to convince myself to indulge in a bottle of wine. Well, a little slip in my Dry Year won't do too much harm: and there was no way I was going to let Mitch drink by himself.
