A strange discovery!

I was on the balcony watering some plants and noticed some newspaper lying in the corner under some chairs. Much to my surprise it is dated 1898! Our building dates from 1901, and was converted from a hospital to apartments in the early 90s; so this must have survived in the building somewhere and then somehow has been blown onto our 2nd floor balcony.

I particularly liked the whisky advert which says "Recommended by analysts and physicians". Glaswegians will also recognise the name Miss Cranston's from the famous tea rooms.
