After Burn

I walked at the Silver Springs State Park on the Sandhill Trail.  It was burned  in the fall to promote the health of the Longleaf Pine forest.  This is a pine tree growing from the bottlebrush stage.  I wanted to check and see if the wide array of wildflowers were coming back and they were!  Mostly leaves right now but there will be milkweed and lupine, as well as much more.
