Goodbye Ailsa

My colleague, Bill wanted a day off today, to get over some football match that he was at yesterday. I offered to cover his run, so it was an early start. This was the very last time I’ll be over in Stranraer and Ayrshire in this job, so had to stop and take a quick shot of Ailsa Craig.

Now that the lab in Tweedbank is completely closed and being dismantled, we have to take the samples collected to Livingston. We are being allowed to continue to take the vans home during this time as we work our redundancy notice.

I’ll miss covering this run.
