Thankfully a swimming gala doesn’t need power as we had two periods of loadshedding in the office. Not ideal for one of the busiest days of the year.

Our biggest client has made a whopping R127million profit so they have to spend a lot with us to get their maximum BBBEE points. Not a bad thing for either of the businesses but the idea of approving a R26 million bill to the tax man can’t be a fun consequence.

In addition to lots of work coming our way, I managed to secure a training programme for one of our young people that will help her push forward her own business. That was valued at R135k, so she is walking on air at the moment.

Home late but still work to do but a couple of busy days are so worth it when the APD will also receive a very welcome R850k tomorrow.

Now for some sleep.
