Driving Home

We drove eight hours in California today. We encountered sunshine, wind and rain. We saw a snow-capped mountain when we were passing through Los Angeles, which is very rare. The reason is that last Saturday, a powerful winter storm swept across the west coast, and Los Angeles had its first snow since 1989.
