Muck out Monday......

Mainly dry, so got the contractor in to muck out the cattle sheds and haul the dung down the road ready to spread and plough in in the fields that will be getting sown with barley.
Every time they finished a shed, I went in with the wee Landini loader tractor and scraped up the remnants round the walls and corners that their big kit couldn't get to. Then bedded everything with wheat straw.
Had them all done by half 5 ,had a full trailer ,so headed off down the road to tip it. Don't know if my tractor is lacking a few horses,or if the load was very heavy,but it took a lot of gear changing to get up the Lady Brae to the field. Came down a lot faster than I went up anyway....
