The Happy Couple

Recently, a small flock of geese have turned up at the local pond. My research tells me these are greylags, recognisable by their orange bills, pink legs and pale brown/grey plumage. 

They are very handsome birds and, although there were a few of them, they were very clearly in separated into pairs.  They apparently mate for life.
