Lunch out

Off up onto the moor. Cold and drizzle but still a good walk. Chatted to a guy just out of the village and felt we got to know him well in 20 minutes. Lots of grouse around on the moor, and Lapwings arriving in the fields on the way up.
Managed to have sandwich during a fifteen minutes of sun.
A vehicle and trailer came over the track, Hetty was not happy, and the farmer stopped for a chat. He was delivering feed to the sheep and told us all about the land owners, his farm and what he will be doing over the next few months with the sheep, so interesting.
Back to a warm cottage, hot drink and book.
Weather not great but a good day was had.
