Monday with Luca

Luca's back to his energetic self, and we enjoyed the usual range of indoor games, as well as a short interlude in the park, with his new balance bike. It was cold and intermittently drizzley out there, so I didn't resist when he suggested going back indoors.
Like Eben before him, he loves making up little scenarios. So here he is with the Brio set of spanners and other tools, checking all the nuts and screws on his bike.
During car journeys with him, I've listened to fragments of reports about the 'Windsor agreement' - the proposed resolution of Brexit-related difficulties in and for Northern Ireland. I am hoping that Sunak will face down his more unhinged right-wingers and will sustain this apparently more pragmatic approach, rather than resorting to the opportunistic anti-EU rhetoric that was Johnson's specialty. We'll see.
