Lovely lunch with fresh tomatoes!

A busy day. First I went for coffee with my group of ‘Pilates friends’ after their class and walked home afterwards, although it’s only about a mile I rarely walk as I am usually in a hurry and drive or cycle.
Out to lunch with friends at the Wharf restaurant in Teddington. They do an excellent good value set menu lunch on weekdays and it was really great. My blip is my first course which included fresh tomatoes! Olive focaccia bread with avocado and a poached egg. My extra is my desert which was also delicious, very chocolaty with nuts and toffee! It’s also in a lovely setting overlooking the river and not crowded or noisy. I think I need to go back again soon.

Then it was off to pick up one of the twins from school, but only one as the other was on a play date. So we went to a Garden Centre for his tea and to look at the pets, the plants and all the other things on sale. There seemed to be lots of plants on special offer, lots of bulbs in pots 5 for £10 and primroses 8 for £10…so we bought some, it looks as though things are not selling that well
