One swan a-swimming

Fouter went home this morning and then I hit the supermarket for a food shop before going along to the Heritage Park for a quick walk.

A very chilly morning.  There was no wind so the loch was very calm. The geese are beginning to arrive as the mating season approaches. There is only ever one pair of swans ..... others are just not tolerated by the resident pair.

I caught a glimpse of a Little Grebe but it was just too far away for a decent photo.
