A great end to the day

Sunday Day 5 post op
Did not have quite as good a nights sleep, my knees and hands were sore. Took some paracetamol when I got up which helped abit.
A stunning day, to nice to stay in so we ventured out.
Went to see David first and I had not seen him since my op. Mike helped him move the rowing machine up stairs and the big TV downstairs.
On to ASDA in Tain as Mike and David and a £5 voucher to get before the end of March.
A beautiful drive round the coast to Portmahomack on the Tarbat peninsula. There’s a pretty harbour designed by Thomas Telford. A few fishing boats around and we enjoyed sitting watching and listening to the waves as the tide came in.
Next to the lighthouse and that stunning in it’s red and white stripes against a clear blue sky.
Thought I would get some steps in so walked to the lighthouse and beyond. It’s not far so thought I would be ok but my knees were killing me, going to have to start the steroids tomorrow !
Felt pretty bad on the way back , really dizzy and that horrible feeling when your hearing goes, yuk. Made it back to the car and after 10 mins with my eyes shut and a drink of apple juice I felt better.
We drove through the seaboard villages on the way back , stopping to see the mermaid of the north. She looked pretty with the waves lapping against her.
Home in time to watch Scotland V France in the Rugby.
Just settling down for the night when alerts of an Aurora came through. So we popped out into the garden and could see a glow up the hill. The colours show up really well on the phone. We could see the red clearly with the naked eye. Was hoping to count the stars of Orion but he was hiding behind the trees.
