Charmaine's Sketches

A super day out today at lunch with old friends. We meet up a few times a year for lunch and a good natter. On the way I called on Charmaine who's daughter Nicky was going to drive us onward to our hosts, Ted and Christine near Saffron Walden. 

Char is an artist and I admired a communal class sketch book which includes some of her own works. Very talented.

As darkness fell while we were all sitting round the table after a delicious meal we set ourselves a quiz of Impressionist artist's masterpiece. The TV has a screen saver of a range of paintings and we were trying to guess who had painted what. Trouble was that there was no answer sheet so we are none the wiser.

Anyway, a big thanks to Ted and Christine for such a lovely lunch with good company and lots of laughs.
