Favourite cycling roads

When you train for long distance cycling events, inevitably you can get bored of cycling the same roads over and over again.

Last year, I got bored of a county, never mind a road. Surrey cycling bored me. I discovered Kent, it's hills (ouch) and its equally delicious coffee and cake stops.

This road is in Surrey. Single track, little traffic and on the way to a very nice coffee stop.

It's good to revisit these places after a while. They are truly beautiful and a welcome break from the stress of my usual mid week London life.
