The Time Of The Tulips

The day of being inside.
Weather was very sunny, but terribly cold. Temperature wasn't very low, about -7, but the wind was straight from the north. One of us have an anniversary tomorrow, but we can't do anything special to celebrate because of other things. We planned to do it today and go for a drive for the beautiful winter weather. But I'm having a hard headache, and we stayed home.

Instead, and to do something special, we tried to bake, for the first time, a Swiss roll. Our oven is a bit difficult, nearly every recipes' baking times are too short for it. Of course, also this dough remained raw. But, we decided to practice the rolling. Jeeez! There was much cocoa in the dough, and as raw it was terribly sticky. But we had it done together, with each of our hands, somewhat in peaces, but anyway:)) It was both very annoying and funny. The roll is now chilling in the fridge, and until tomorrow to do everything we can for the end result. Whether you can eat it is a different matter...    I suppose you can't:))   But we did practice. Did something special:)
