Keeping an eye on things

I had a feeling of being watched this morning as I paused at this stall in the market.

Later we went to the Botanics and after a wander round we had a late lunch in the restaurant. The weather felt a bit chilly today so it was good to get warmed up.

On the walk back to the house through the park, we saw another dramatic episode in the swan soap opera. Another interloper seemed to be getting the “treatment” and was being chased round the pond.  There is now only one cygnet left, so no doubt it will get the heave-ho soon too. The extra shows the resident pair bearing down on the trespasser, followed by the chase.
