Mince Pie

A productive Sunday.

I did three hours of online marking this morning (speaking tests) as part of a three-day round-the-clock project with the British Council. I’ll be doing six hours tomorrow and Tuesday - two three-hour shifts with a decent break in-between. It’s quite a high stake exam as their marks contribute to whether these Japanese students get into university and the subject they study. Every test is double marked and then marked a third time if of the are any discrepancies.

In the afternoon, I made a mince pie - a first for me! My brother mentioned in a text to me that he’d made one for dinner and we remembered how delicious our gran’s were and it put me in the mood. I was on a roll by then and took advantage of having the oven on to make meatballs.

Now off out to get some fresh air and stretch our legs.

Snow is forecast for later in the week here! If it happens, it’ll be only the second time in 32 years!
