sheep

I was pleased this morning (at 4 am) to discover that I did upload a picture before falling asleep last night. I am temporarily a morning person!

I went through, lightly edited, and then shared the pictures from the funeral. My friend loved them. "You capture these tiny moments and they have such an impact." As they go through her papers they keep discovering that she was helping people they didn't even know about. 

This is a picture of Samuel and the sheep. In Iceland Kate wouldn't let the sheep into the cottage so Karen got me a sheep here. It is currently on the couch looking comfortable. 

Canada has sent four tanks to Ukraine. They are in Poland now. 

The Czech Republic sent Ukraine 14 bridges. They are temporary metal bridges. 

There is an article in the Washington Post about Russians, without an organization managing or backing them, helping Ukrainian refugees. They do whatever occurs to them, from helping them cross the border to Finland, replacing cell phones swiped by Russian border guards, getting vets for pets, helping to find medicine. They are doing these things at great jeopardy to themselves, to help themselves deal with the guilt, despair, and anger
