An unexpected find.

Clicky chick has some pallets waiting to be stained for the pots around the garden to stand on.  They have been covered over with a tarpaulin.  Today I noticed part of the tarpaulin had moved and was covering some grass.  It must have been there a good while because when I moved it I found this snug little nest.

As we have seen BankVoles round the garden I am assuming it is theirs.   Fortunately, there were no occupants.  The collection of materials are interesting to me.  Clearly, the majority of it is dried grass and moss.  The blue is the interesting part, the tarpaulin has some blue ropes fixed to it, they have nibbled one to pieces and incorporated that in the nest.
