Last night away
Today is our second day when we have not put the bed away in the caravan. Our reasoning being that again, we didn't plan to be here much. And we haven't been. After breakfast, we drove over to good friends Karen and Neil in Girton. There we spent a couple of hours catching up, over coffee and delicious home make apple cake. Karen is such a good cook. Their house is looking lovely, and each time we visit is closer to being finished.
We left them at lunch time and drove back to the caravan where we made sandwiches, before heading to Jon's parents house in Melbourn. There we had a nice few hours telling them about our family history tracing week away.
We are now back for the evening. The heater is on. I've added another blanket to the existing duvet and camp blanket, so a layer of 3 should keep us warmer tonight. I've also dug out my fluffy jumper, usually reserved for my cold work days in the conservatory. I'm going to wear it in bed tonight!
