Sprucing Up

Popped out for a walk this morning. Investigated the on going forestry work first. Good to see the large piles of timber obstructing the footpath and encroaching on the farmers fields have been removed. Although some tidying up is still required.

I then dropped down to the railway line and watched a couple of Red Kites circling and calling to one another. Further on was a Nuthatch. I thinkRichard thought I had got lost as I was out for over an hour. However it was just wonderful to just set off without a plan.

As I came back Ms Mallard was enjoying her ablutions. Perhaps ready for a Saturday night on the town.
