Blue sea and sky

It was such a lovely sunny day today we were up early and had a day out exploring a new piece of coast not far away. The sun was warm but the wind cold, it was good to see plants growing bluebells, pignut, wood sorrel all appearing with primroses and celandines in flower. We were watched from a knoll for an hour or so by a Sea Eagle but missed seeing it eventually take off.
We didn't see anyone all day apart from 1 distant kayaker.
Lunch with hot chocolate made on the stove and a fab view towards the islands.
We spent time exploring the over grazed woods, mostly deer damage as far as I could see, this photo was taken while heading back along the cliff top towards the car. The tree shapes against the view caught my eye.
