Sleepover, nearly like a hangover
What did we do to have a great sleepover?
-went rollerskating (see details below)
-watched Pitch Perfect
-had delicious dinner (always a challenge, green beans were a novelty!)
-slept (they did) in a guest room with 3 duvets, 4 pillows, special blanky, unknown amount of cuddly toys and two iPads
-woke up at 7 am on a Sunday morning, whispered loudly and tiptoes on wooden, cracking floorboards, but forgot to let the dog out
-had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast
-went to basketball training
-lost thongs and had to borrow shoes to go back home
-laughed a lot, talked even more, put up with Mr H sens of humour
It was fun. We'll do it again ... at some point.
Now, roller-skating. How come some people can roller-skate with such an easy, that they look like they could make Irish coffee, never mind go backwards and not collapse on anybody? How come their feet hardly move and they look as cool as? And are tattoos necessary to achieve that level of proficiency? If so, I am off to get a couple of dragonflies on my thighs and maybe even a pelican across the shoulder blades.
