Goldfinch

That smug feeling you get when you've finished the jobs you wanted to get done in the garden and then the rain arrives! That was me this lunchtime after a nice sunny morning spent pottering about and getting more bits pruned back, and also planting things out of pots!

And it's been sunshine and showers since, so enjoying a more relaxing afternoon by catching up on some reading, watching sport and have also just become addicted to watching 'abandoned mansions' videos on Youtube!! So many amazing places all over the world that have just been left to rot away!

Early visitors to the garden this morning were 2 goldfinches in the magnolia tree which was lovely to see
