Buoy with Black Guillemots
A travelling day today. Had to get to Ullapool for 9:40 for check in for the 10:25 ferry to Stornoway. Quite a choppy crossing we enjoyed our cooked breakfast while others definitely did not. Pick up provisions and petrol then down to Leverburgh for the 18:30 ferry to Berneray. This was a far calmer crossing and we could sit outside at the front watching the wildlife in the Sound of Harris. A few Seals, Gannets and Great Northern Divers and today's photo of a Buoy that was home for a dozen Black Guillemots. Check out RCB for a closer view.
Arrived at our house on Benbecula, unpacked, flopped, bed.
