On the day of a rare snow on the coast of Oregon, we hunker down remembering that our last beautiful snow was last Winter while we still had Dad living with us.
Slowly we adjust our thinking as the first anniversary of his passing grows near, and really realize our lovely neighbors, Dad and Mom, will not be coming back to share life’s special moments with us.

Mr Contraptioneer was a trooper and rolled some snow off the driveway. It’s a lovely day, after all.
