Charlotte is alive!

This is my mulberry "Charlotte Russe" and it appears to be the only survivor in the ericaceous bed. The blueberries show no sign of life yet, but I will give them another month or so before replacing them.
I also pruned the gooseberries at last, after donning suitable protective gear. They really are viciously prickly.
