Japonica

It is good to see some winter colour on the street above us. Our neighbours came round for coffee and cake in the morning and we were quizzed about the current situation in the UK. Our neighbours are Danish and they find it difficult to understand what has been going on and the self harm, as they see it, to a country that they respect. I did not know that Denmark's decision to join the EEC was influenced by the original UK decision. The Danes thought that if the UK was contemplating joining then they should as well. The tennis courts had dried sufficiently for us to have our usual Friday afternoon practice. There were five of us so we had to rotate the play.
