Kit Check

Competitors having their kit checked before registering for the "Old County Tops" fell race for pairs. As in previous years BlackrodLad and I trundled round as a pair. This year conditions were poor for the first 4 or 5 hours and the restricted visibility caused us to add a bit of extra climbing and distance to the standard 37 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing.

We finished in around eleven and a half hour to earn our 2013 t-shirts and I have some more photos from before the start, here.
