All our thoughts are with Ukraine today.

I was looking for something yellow and blue to mark the one year since the terrible war began in Ukraine.
Here are yellow daffodils and a vase which contains blue in the pattern.
Such devastation there and in Turkey and Syria is so hard to comprehend.
One caused by a despot the other by forces of nature.
(I won’t go into a dialogue about how the buildings were made before the disastrous earthquake struck, that is already no doubt an enquiry in the making.)
I am thankful to have a lovely home
Food on the table
A garden
Family and friends
A country where I can go out and about without the sights and sounds of rockets, shelling, and sirens.

All of us hoping and praying that peace will prevail and diplomacy will be successful.
