Horses

BB and I went to visit my mum and dad today, but not until I had finished my jigsaw.  Well I say finished - there is a piece missing.  How annoying.  The drive up was very smooth.  Being Sunday morning there wasn’t too much traffic on the roads.  I don’t particularly enjoy driving, so I was glad to get there.  We had a lovely catch up and before we knew it, my mum had produced lunch.

After lunch BB and I headed out for a  walk to stretch our legs.  Neither my mum or dad joined us.  My poor dad ended up at the out of hours GP service on Friday evening and is still suffering a bit, so best he stayed at home.  We walked up a nearby hill and had good views all around, particularly to the hills further north which were covered in snow.  It was very windy, so we didn’t hang around too long and headed down into town .  We had a wander around ant then walked home, looking out for red squirrels.  We didn’t see any.

After a big tea, it was time for us to head back down the road.  My dad was feeling a bit better, but I left him with strict instructions to call his own GP tomorrow.  The drive back was quite stressful.  It was very windy and there was a lot of traffic.  I was very glad to get home.  We were going to start series three of Happy Valley, but I really couldn’t be bothered.  We’ll save that for next weekend.

We walked past these horses this afternoon.
