Just a resting robin...

I woke up this morning, took a shower, put my thermals on (figuring I would be chaining up the truck) and...  looked at the road conditions and Interstate 5 was closed in 2 places. Portland was covered deep in ice. They actually had the second most snowfall in 24 hours since 1943. So at 02:00, I woke up my boss and let her know what was going on - safety first - load was cancelled. Unexpected day off.

So I watched the Portland chaos on the web being grateful I wasn't in it. I was also able to help my mom out today - which included a nice lunch together. At home I saw multiple robins in the trees. I grabbed the camera hoping they would stay awhile and got this shot.

Tomorrow I will likely go sledding down the highway at 80,000 pounds..
