Birding

Visited Caerlaverock Wetlands Centre and saw lots of birds today. I mean LOTS - about 1000 Barnacle geese (waiting to head back up to Svalbard), 100 whooper swans (planning their trip back up to Iceland), and many other sea and mud loving birds. I don’t have the right camera or skill to photo the birds - so instead I have MrKT and a giant pair of binoculars. Interesting day but that’s enough on the bird front for a while.
Headed along the coast a little way to a new sleepover spot - by a pub. Well, yes we did go in the pub, and had dinner.
