Holding on

I was standing down with my toes in the river today, saying hello to some old tree friends. That includes this beauty who has managed to hang on for another winter as the river eats the bank away beneath it. It’s done a spectacular job of growing its roots into the bank, and its offspring are scattered along the bank and the edge of the field above.

Today was a three-walk day, with G, R and both dogs. Heaven :)
